Back in February 2015, the IRS commissioner disclosed that unauthorized individuals gained access to sensitive taxpayer information from its ‘Get Transcript’ application. A February 2016 update showed that another 390,000 accounts were inappropriately accessed, bringing the grand total to 720,000 breaches.
This is a great example of an enterprise risk.
