Seattle Restaurants Closing Their Doors Ahead Of Minimum Wage Increase

An increase in Seattle’s minimum wage is being cited as one major factor contributing to the closure of a number of the it’s restaurants.  Beginning April 1st, Seattle’s small employers will have seven years to phase in a wage increase to at least $15 per hour for all employees.  Large employers with 500 or more employers will have three years to raise their wages.
