Delaware captive insurance director, Steve Kinion, will speak at S&P’s Annual Insurance Conference on June 4 at 1:45 P.M. Steve will participate on a panel titled, “U.S. Life Insurance Regulatory Review.” In addition to Steve, the panel will include:

- Joel Steinberg, Senior Vice President, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Actuary, New York Life Insurance Company

This panel will examine the regulatory environment specific to the life insurance industry. It will explore hot button topics such as development of global capital standards; the potential issues around the use of principles-based reserving; the use of captives; risks to capital; and whether or not these risks are being appropriately captured within the different regulatory regimes.

Delaware Department of Insurance at Bermuda Captive Conference
Rasa Zubielaite, chief financial analyst for Delaware’s captive bureau, will attend Bermuda Captive Conference from Sunday June 1st – Wednesday June 4th.
